The Aswan International Women Film Festival (AIWFF) mourns artist Nagy shaker who died after a great artistic journey in film, theater and visual arts fields.

The festival administration said: We lost one of the pioneers of Puppetry art in Egypt and the whole world. An artist who contributed to film and theater as well as designing various posters of Egyptian films.

Shaker had always supported Aswan International Women film festival during the preparations aiming at launching the first edition of the festival in which he also designed the festival's poster.

Shaker will always be in the minds and souls of art lovers in Egypt and all over the world through his art works that will continue to inspire the upcoming generations.
